Dragon Boat Fun/Record Fundraising

It’s still early in the 2012 Dynamic Dragon Boat season, but fundraising records are already being shattered. In the first four races of the season, charities scored big with more than $250,000 for their respective causes. In Chattanooga, The Children’s Hospital Foundation received more pledges than ever thanks to paddler participants raising more than $140,000.

We plan to continue this path of setting the example with pledging this year. Knoxville is up next on the calendar, where Knox Area Rescue Ministries has an ambitious goal of raising $187,000 – enough for 100,000 meals for the homeless in our community. Find out more about our 10-year anniversary plans for the event this Saturday, June 23.
