I look forward to paddling every year (this was my 4th), and as much as I loved the old venue (Volunteer Landing), The Cove was so much better. Very much worth the extra drive.
I don’t think that it could have went any smoother. The weather was great. The races were intense. The live music was awesome (Thanks Dishwater Blonde!!!). Not to mention the ability to do more than just race, such as volleyball, swimming, grilling out, etc…
Thanks to Penny & Wendy for the best race day yet. Looking even more eagerly to next year! Woo hooo!
I’ m not a breast cancer survivor……..but I have a boat and I love to row. The good part is that it’s a two person 17′ shell……….sliding seats, 11′ oars ! My boat is called Water Dancer–and if someone likes to row…….practice for the big boat, just call me a 971-9642.
I need help getting the boat to the water……
it’s heavier than most (since it’s ocean rated)
I don’t have a trailer…….but I have a car that we have to lift it up and on. The best time to go out (I’ve learned this the hard way) Is best around high time…….that way we won’t be rowing against the tide when we’re coming in……..If you’re willing……Just call or email……….Blessings, Eileen
give me a call or an email. Thanks, I love being with happy people making it happen in the water. Love and Blessings, Eileen
